Case Study — Branding & Print
Alaska Expedition
Journey & Documentation
Comprehensive brand definition, expedition collateral, and environmental photography documenting high-stakes exploration across the wild terrains of Alaska.
The Assignment
To capture the raw essence of true Alaskan exploration, the project demanded a hybrid approach: robust brand design merged with immersive documentary photography. The goal was to produce professional-grade print collateral — notably a large-format 11x17 half-fold brochure — that communicates both the danger and majesty of the expedition, serving as both a guide and a testament to the journey.

The Execution
Execution was divided into field capture and studio synthesis. In the field, environmental conditions dictated a rugged approach to photography, securing shots like sweeping vistas and kinetic action while managing the elements. In the studio, these raw assets were distilled into a cohesive visual language. The typography, grid structures, and color grading were rigorously developed to match the gravity of the subject matter, culminating in a striking print layout designed for tactile engagement.

The Result
The final deliverables firmly established the "Alaska Expedition" identity. The integrated photography and layout design amplified the project's narrative weight, providing a premium, cohesive aesthetic across both digital and physical touchpoints. The print materials stand as enduring artifacts of the adventure, effectively translating remote, rugged landscapes into high-end editorial design.
