01 Overview

The Organization

Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) is one of twelve Alaska Native regional corporations created under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971 (ANCSA). Headquartered in Anchorage, CIRI represents approximately 9,500 shareholders of Athabascan, Inupiat, Yup'ik, Alutiiq/Sugpiaq, Aleut/Unangax, and Southeast Indian descent.

CIRI manages a diverse portfolio spanning aerospace manufacturing, energy and resource development, oilfield services, real estate, tourism, hospitality, telecommunications, and government contracting. Its digital presence needed to serve shareholders, stakeholders, subsidiaries, and the general public across all of these verticals.

CIRI required a web platform that could serve as both a public-facing corporate presence and a shareholder communications hub. The site needed to accommodate:

The Solution

Architected and built the entire web platform in-house as the sole developer. Managed structured content systems and high-fidelity multimedia resources for CIRI and its subsidiary network. Key deliverables included:

  • Corporate website management and ongoing development
  • Subsidiary site coordination and brand consistency
  • Multimedia content creation including photography for "As Seen in Our Region"
