CIRI 50th Anniversary "Next 50" Brand Identity
The Challenge
Cook Inlet Region, Inc. is one of the original thirteen Alaska Indigenous regional corporations established under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. As CIRI approached its 50th anniversary, the organization needed a comprehensive brand package that honored its heritage and celebrated five decades of impact. **This project was not a remake of the primary CIRI corporate logo**, but rather the development of a massive 50th anniversary asset ecosystem.
The scope was specific: not a replacement of the corporate logo, but the creation of a massive 50th anniversary asset ecosystem including variations for all subsidiaries and a high-impact video reflecting on the milestone.
The Solution
Developed a massive 50th anniversary brand package featuring 50 distinct logo variations used across the entire CIRI corporate ecosystem. This was complemented by a short, powerful video reflecting on the organization's 50-year journey.
50 Logo Variations
Custom anniversary marks for CIRI and all corporate subsidiaries, ensuring unique but unified identity across the entire region.
Digital Properties
Website management for CIRI and subsidiary sites
Anniversary Video
Short-form video production reflecting on 50 years of heritage
Photography
Contributed to "As Seen in Our Region" and corporate documentation
The Impact
A unified visual identity that honored 50 years of Alaska Indigenous heritage while communicating CIRI's position as a modern, forward-looking corporation.
The anniversary package successfully bridged the organization's deep heritage roots with a celebratory aesthetic, serving thousands of shareholders across Alaska and beyond through both digital and analog media.
